I-80 eastbound daily right lane closures start Monday, last for several months to repair retaining wall in Warren County

Closures necessary for the next several months to repair retaining wall

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – I-80 eastbound is scheduled to have daily right lane closures beginning on Monday,
April 1 in Hardwick Township and Knowlton Township.

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 1 and continuing daily Monday through Friday at the same times until summer 2024, the right lane on I-80 eastbound is scheduled to be closed from milepost 0.5 after the exit ramp to River Road in Hardwick Township to mile post 1.5 before the Weigh Station/U-turn in Knowlton Township.

The closures are necessary to repair the retaining wall.

One lane will remain open while the work is taking place. If work is completed early, the lane will reopen sooner.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution when driving through the work zone. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.

Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT’s traffic information website for construction updates and real-time travel information.
