Independence First Aid Squad collecting gift cards for DASACC of Warren County and their annual Holiday Shoppe

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Independence First Aid Squad has announced their renewed partnership with The Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) of Warren County and their annual Holiday Shoppe.

From now until Tuesday, Dec. 5, they will be collecting $10 gift cards from Amazon, Target, or Walmart.

Last year, over 350 Warren County families benefitted from this program, and they need the support of the community to make this program successful again.

In past years, DASACC has collected traditional gifts; however, providing gift cards helps DASACC implement its empowerment model. This way, survivors and community members will have the gift of autonomy, self-sufficiency, and independence by allowing them to choose gifts for their loved ones during a challenging time.

You can drop off gift cards at their main station, 3 Regina Lane, Great Meadows, NJ 07838, or can be mailed to P.O. Box 137 Great Meadows, NJ 07838.

If you wish to contribute an Amazon gift card, click here, and the gift cards will be directly mailed to the first aid squad.

If you wish to donate a gift card and would like them to pick it up, contact our Treasurer, Samantha Vazquez Nicholls, at 908-736-6109 to schedule a pickup time.
