Off-peak lane closures scheduled May 2-3 for biennial inspections at Delaware Water Gap I-80 toll bridge

The biennial process of inspecting the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission’s eight toll bridges is scheduled to shift to the I-80 Delaware Water Gap I-80 toll bridge.

The right eastbound (New Jersey-bound) lane is scheduled to be closed 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2.

The right westbound (Pennsylvania-bound) lane is scheduled to be closed 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3.

Motorists could encounter backups and delays when approaching the Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge in the respective direction on either of those dates.

The inspections are weather sensitive and if any lane closures are cancelled due to inclement weather, the inspections will be done on Thursday, May 4.
