Oxford Central School wins 2024 NASP NJ archery tournament, now headed to nationals in Kentucky

OXFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Oxford archery is right on target. The Oxford Central School Archery Team won first place in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) 3D and Bullseye tournaments.

“As usual, Oxford Central School gave an outstanding performance and continues its legacy as producing championship archery teams year after year! It’s my absolute pleasure to give out the following Congratulations!,” Oxford Twp. School District Chief School Administrator John Nittolo said to RNJ.

“Congratulations to Coach Rob Causton for 33 years in education and 18 State championships!,” Nittolo said.

With this being Causton’s final year before retiring, it is fitting that he goes out on top. The “bow” is being passed to Jonathan Neuhs who we are sure will continue Oxford’s proud tradition, Nittolo said.

Brady and Regan Finnigan earned first place for top male and female, Nick Suyker achieved second place top male, and Cameron Steele earned third place top female archers in the Middle School Division, Nittolo said.

Regan Finnigan achievied this year’s Top Female Archer State Champion. She earned the Special Edition NJ State Champion Genesis Bow, Nittolo said.

The team and their families will be travelling to Louisville, Kentucky for the Eastern National Championships from May 9-11.

“Best of luck at the NASP Eastern Nationals, Oxford Central always represents the State of New Jersey extremely well,” Nittolo said.
