Person hospitalized with injuries after incident involving forklift in Hunterdon County

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A person was transported to the hospital with injuries after an incident involving a forklift in Hunterdon County on Monday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

Troopers responded to a medical assist at 9:59 a.m. on Route 12 east at milepost 53 in Kingwood Township, Lebron said.

Upon the troopers’ arrival, a victim sustained injuries to his foot due to a forklift, Lebron said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical evaluation, Lebron said.

The incident remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
