Woman charged with DWI following crash in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is facing charges including driving while intoxicated Saturday morning following a motor vehicle crash in Denville Township.

On April 13, at around 9:55 a.m., police responded to Anthony & Sons Bakery, located at 20 Luger Road, for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot, police said.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the driver of one of the vehicles involved, who was identified as Alexis A. Carranza-Morales of Dover, was allegedly driving while intoxicated, police said.

Carranza-Morales was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and carless driving. She was then released pending a court appearance, police said.
