Alternating single-lane travel scheduled for Riverton-Belvidere Bridge inspection on April 19

BELVIDERE, NJ (Warren County) – Alternating single-lane travel controlled by flaggers is scheduled 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at the Riverton-Belvidere Bridge between Lower Mount Bethel, PA. and Belvidere, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The travel restriction will allow for federally required inspections of the bridge structure by the Commission’s General Engineering Consulting firm, the commission said.

Brief backups and travel delays are possible, the commission said.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution while inspections are taking place at the bridge, the commission said.
