Stretch of Harmony Brass Castle Road in Warren County reopens after months-long closure due to flooding damage

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Harmony Brass Castle Road, also known as County Route 647, was reopened Friday after being closed for more than five months for repairs.

Harmony Brass Castle Road was closed since July 16, 2023 when severe storms caused a bridge washout.

The road had been closed between Hartmans Corner Road and Spring Lane in the northwest corner of Washington Township due to bridge and road damage in the area of Brass Castle Creek.

“The Warren County Administration would like to thank all parties involved in the project, including the county Public Works Department and county Engineer’s Office,” officials said.
