1 dead following Morris County house fire

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – One person is dead following a Thursday morning house fire in Morris County, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.

The fire was reported at 3:10 a.m. at a residence on Raritan Avenue in Roxbury Township, Knab said.

“The remains of one individual have been recovered. The identity of the individual will not be released at this time,” Knab said.

The response and investigation remain ongoing, Knab said.
