14th annual Roxbury Marching Band Classic to be held on Sept. 21

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The 14th Annual Roxbury Marching Band Classic features 11 local and regional high school marching bands including performances by both of Roxbury High School’s marching bands: The Marching Gaels and The Roxbury Sound.

This year’s Marching Gaels show, entitled Rearrange, will continue to combine the elements of traditional marching and playing with electronics, dance, and choreography as the audience explores the concept of “rearrange” both sonically and visually.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Roxbury High School, located at1 Bryant Drive, in Succasunna. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. with the competition running from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Entry wristbands available at the gate for $12 general admission, $8 admission for those 65+ and/or students with ID, and free admission for children 4 years old and younger.

Vendor booths, baked goods, 50/50 raffle, concession stand, ample parking, and indoor restrooms are available throughout the event.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker.
