2 injured after multi-vehicle crash on I-78 in Hunterdon County

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County Thursday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 78 at milepost 20 in Clinton Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that the collision involved a tractor-trailer, a tanker truck, and two passenger vehicles, Lebron said.

The driver and passenger of one of the passenger vehicles sustained minor injuries. No other injuries were reported, Lebron added.

The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
