2 injured in Sussex County house fire

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Two people were injured in a house fire Friday morning in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

Troopers responded at approximately 9:05 a.m. to a structure fire at a residence on Long Bridge Road in Frankford Township. Upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames, Lebron said.

Two occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Lebron said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no further information was available, Lebron added.
