20-year-old killed in Sussex County ATV crash

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A 20-year-old Sussex County man was killed Monday evening after an all-terrain vehicle overturned in Wantage Township, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 7:48 p.m. on Brink Road.

According to a preliminary investigation, Maddox A. Farber was operating a Polaris ATV northbound on Brink Road when he lost directional control of the vehicle. The ATV left the roadway to the left and overturned, state police said.

Farber was ejected from the ATV and sustained fatal injuries, according to state police.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
