7 injured after single-vehicle crash on I-80 in Warren County

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Seven people were injured following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Warren County Wednesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:56 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound in Allamuchy Township, Marchan said.

Based on a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling west on I-80 when it lost directional control and ran off the roadway, Marchan said.

According to radio reports, all seven occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle.

All seven were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available, Marchan added.
