UPDATE: Suspect in Warren County stabbing arrested, according to state police. No further information was released.

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with locating a suspect in connection to a stabbing investigation in Hardwick Township.

On Tuesday, July 2, at around 10:20 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a man stabbed at a residence on Meadow Cliff Lane, state police said.

The suspect, Nelson Ariel Orellana-Vargas, had fled the scene, state police said.

Orellana-Vargas is described as a 23-year-old Hispanic male, 5-feet 1-inch and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a dragon on it and jeans.

The man was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition, state police said.
