Mars named to Glassdoor’s 2026 best workplaces list, tops new manufacturing and energy ranking

Mars Inc., the maker of brands including M&M’S, Pringles, PEDIGREE, Royal Canin and Ben’s Original, has received two honors in Glassdoor’s 18th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, the company said.

Glassdoor, which bases the awards on voluntary employee reviews, ranked Mars No. 6 on its 2026 Best Places to Work list of 100 companies. Mars also ranked No. 1 on Glassdoor’s first Best Places to Work in Manufacturing & Energy list, which includes 25 companies, according to the announcement.

Mars, a family-owned business that has been globally headquartered in the United States for more than a century, employs more than 70,000 associates, the company said. Mars said it operates under its purpose — “the world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today” — and uses its Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom.

“A company is only as strong as the people behind the work,” said Rebecca Snow, Vice President, People & Organization at Mars, Incorporated. “The world-class talent we have at Mars, coupled with our Associates’ shared commitment to delivering high-quality products and services for our consumers, is what makes working at Mars so special. Receiving these honors reinforces that our culture and the way we work is aligned with our purpose.”

The company said it has focused on strengthening its U.S. manufacturing footprint, noting that 94% of Mars products sold in the U.S. are produced domestically. Mars also pointed to a previously announced $2 billion investment in American manufacturing through 2026, building on $6 billion invested in manufacturing over the previous five years, according to the announcement.

“At Mars, we’re proud of our people-first environment, where Associates are empowered to shape their own futures,” said Anton Vincent, President of Mars Snacking North America and Global Ice Cream and lead for cross-company reputation building in the U.S. “From our global headquarters to veterinary clinics, to factory floors, this recognition shows that our Associates see Mars as a place where they can learn, grow, and build meaningful careers.”

Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Awards are based on voluntary reviews submitted by employees. More information on Mars’ U.S. presence is available on the company’s website. The full 2026 Best Places to Work rankings are available on Glassdoor.
