Somerset County man killed after autocycle crash in South Brunswick
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Middlesex County) — A Somerset County man was killed Friday morning after being ejected from his autocycle in a crash involving an SUV in South Brunswick, police said.
Officers responded to the crash at approximately 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Route 130 and Melrich Road.
A preliminary investigation found that a 2024 Kia SUV was making a left turn from Route 130 north when it collided with an autocycle traveling south.
The 64-year-old Somerset man operating the autocycle was ejected and died from his injuries, authorities said. His identity was not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
