Man charged after sliding glass door stolen in Denville

DENVILLE TONWSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Boonton man has been charged in connection with the theft of a sliding glass door and related hardware from a property in Denville Township, police said.

The Denville Police Department said officers were notified May 5 about a theft reported to have occurred the previous day at The Meadows development.

Police said the stolen items included a sliding glass door and associated handles. Following an investigation, officers identified Kenneth S. Hollstein, 49, of Boonton, as the suspect.

Hollstein was arrested several days later and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

After processing, Hollstein was released pending a future appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
