M&M’S teams up with ‘Love Island USA’ for interactive fan experience during Season 8
M&M’S is partnering with “Love Island USA” for the show’s upcoming eighth season, launching a new interactive viewing experience designed to bring fans into the action during each episode.
The candy brand, part of Mars, announced it will serve as the exclusive confectionery partner for “Love Island USA” Season 8, which premieres June 2 on Peacock.
As part of the collaboration, M&M’S is introducing limited-edition “Play Along Packs,” allowing viewers to participate in games tied to moments from the reality dating series while watching from home.
“We know that reality TV is the ultimate social experience, and M&M’S has always been the perfect snack for bringing people together,” said Martin Terwilliger, vice president of marketing for Mars Snacking North America. “By coupling up with Love Island USA, we’re giving fans a sweet new way to immerse themselves in the show’s most iconic moments and connect with each other during watch parties.”
Each M&M’S Play Along Pack includes four game boards and a share-size pouch of custom “Love Island USA” milk chocolate candies printed with phrases connected to the show, including “pull for a chat” and “bombshell arrives.”
During episodes, players remove or eat candies matching moments happening onscreen. The winner is determined by whoever clears their board first or has the fewest candies remaining by the end of the episode.
The limited-edition packs will be available exclusively through MMS.com beginning June 2 for $15.99 while supplies last.
Beyond the game packs, M&M’S said the partnership will also include social media content, TikTok challenges and appearances from former Islanders Hannah Fields and Jeremiah Brown throughout the summer season.
The company said the campaign is designed to encourage fan interaction both online and during in-person watch parties as the popular reality series returns for its newest season.
