RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Randolph Rescue Squad has expanded its scope of practice to include blood glucose testing and albuterol administration for patients who meet protocol criteria.
The rescue squad announced the new capabilities officially entered service this past week following months of work to obtain waivers, ensure regulatory compliance, develop training, educate members and prepare crews.
“These additions allow us to better assess and treat patients in the field, providing more timely care when every minute matters,” the rescue squad said.
The squad said it is “excited to continue advancing the care we provide to our community in partnership with our local medical direction.”
