Morris County prosecutor, sheriff receive community appreciation awards from Rabbinical College of America
MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll and Morris County Sheriff James Gannon have been honored with the Community Appreciation Award by the Rabbinical College of America – Lubavitch in Morristown.
The awards were presented by Rabbi Abe Freeman during a celebration held July 30.
Freeman, who serves as a law enforcement chaplain, recognized Carroll and Gannon for their collaboration with the Jewish community, as well as with the students and faculty of the Rabbinical College of America – Lubavitch.
County officials said the awards recognize the ongoing partnership between local law enforcement and the Morristown-based rabbinical college and its community.
