Mosquito treatment scheduled Monday morning in 4 Morris County communities
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control crews are scheduled to treat wooded areas in four Morris County communities early Monday morning due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, treatments will take place by all-terrain vehicle from 4 to 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, according to the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control.
The scheduled treatment locations are:
- Parsippany: Elmwood Drive at Lake Parsippany Park
- Boonton: Essex Avenue at Grace Lord Park
- Montville: Jacksonville Road at Camp Dawson
- Morristown: Erskine Drive at Lidgerwood Park
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin and is registered under EPA No. 1021-1687-8329, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox and is registered under EPA No. 2724-807.
