Traffic striping begins Monday on county roads across Hunterdon County; delays expected

HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. — Motorists should expect delays and one-lane travel beginning Monday, Aug. 31, as crews apply traffic stripes to county roads in several Hunterdon County municipalities, according to county officials.

The work will take place on county roads in Clinton, Delaware, Franklin, Kingwood, Raritan and Readington townships, as well as Flemington Borough.

Traffic striping is scheduled to take place from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and expect delays and one-lane travel while crews are working.

Officials are also reminding drivers not to drive around traffic cones or over wet traffic stripes.

Denville Line Painting Inc. is the contractor for the project.
