Applebee’s locations in New Jersey offer football season specials

NEW JERSEY – Applebee’s restaurants operated by Doherty Enterprises in New Jersey and New York are offering food and drink specials throughout the professional football season.

Doherty Enterprises, an Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar franchisee with locations in New Jersey, New York City and Long Island, announced Monday that participating restaurants will offer game day specials on drinks, appetizers and wings during professional football games.

Participating restaurants will also offer NFL RedZone and NFL Sunday Ticket, allowing customers to watch games from around the league.

Offers will vary by location and may include Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Brew Pub Pretzels & Beer Cheese Dip, Chicken Quesadillas and other shareable appetizers, along with drink specials. Restaurants in New Jersey, New York City, Westchester and Long Island will offer different promotions, including weekday happy hour and Sunday game day specials.

“Applebee’s has always been a place where friends and family can come together, and football season is the perfect time to do that,” said Timothy Doherty, President and Chief Operating Officer of Doherty Enterprises Inc. “We’re excited to give fans a fun welcoming place to watch football together this season, catch every big play, and enjoy some of their favorite food and drinks.”

Applebee’s is also offering an NFL Season Wing Ticket promotion at participating locations through Jan. 10. Participating customers receive a unique code each week that can be redeemed for six free Boneless Wings with an online To Go order of at least $15 through the Applebee’s website or mobile app.

The $15 minimum excludes alcohol, taxes, delivery and service fees and gratuity. The promotion is limited to one order per week, and other restrictions may apply.

“With the expanded selection offered through Ticket and Red Zone, fans can catch more of the games they want to see – even when their favorite team is playing out of town,” said Dan Dillon, Director of Marketing at Doherty Enterprises. “It gives our guests more options to enjoy the full football season without ever having to leave the neighborhood.”

Customers are encouraged to check with their local Applebee’s for specific offers, prices and availability.
