RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The County College of Morris Foundation will hold its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 5, at Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown to raise money for student scholarships, athletics and campus resources.
The 2026 CCM Foundation Golf Classic will bring together members of the business community, alumni, friends and supporters of the college for a day of golf, networking and fundraising.
Registration and a barbecue lunch will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a noon shotgun start on the country club’s 18-hole course. An open-bar cocktail reception, buffet dinner and awards program will follow the tournament.
Participants will also have access to a driving range and locker rooms and will have opportunities to participate in a tricky tray, 50/50 raffle and other prize drawings. Golfers will also have an opportunity to play and mingle with members of CCM’s golf teams.
Crum & Forster, a national property, casualty and accident and health insurer, is supporting the event as a Presidential Sponsor.

Longtime sports columnist and television commentator John “Harp” Harper will make a guest appearance at the event.
Harper, a New Jersey native, played baseball and basketball at Parsippany Hills High School and baseball at the University of Bridgeport. He later played for the Raybestos Cardinals, winning a national fast-pitch softball championship in 1983 and representing the United States at the 1984 World Softball Championships.
Harper began his journalism career at the Morristown Daily Record before working for the New York Post and New York Daily News, where he covered the Mets and Yankees. He later became a television commentator on SNY.
Guests will have an opportunity to speak with Harper and hear stories from his nearly five decades in sports journalism.
Businesses and community members can support the fundraiser by participating in the tournament, purchasing sponsorships or advertising in the event journal. Donations can also be made by those unable to attend, with proceeds supporting CCM student scholarships, athletics and campus resources.
