BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Somerset County) — A tractor-trailer jackknifed on an Interstate 287 ramp in Somerset County early Tuesday morning, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 2:31 a.m. on the ramp from I-287 north to Interstate 78 west in Bedminster Township.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a Freightliner tractor-trailer lost control, veered off the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail and jackknifed, state police said.
No injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
