All NJMVC facilities to close May 25 for Memorial Day

NEW JERSEY — All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission facilities will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day, officials announced.

The closure includes all NJMVC agencies, road test sites and vehicle inspection stations statewide.

Regular operations will continue the rest of the week, including Saturday, May 23, according to the commission.

Officials reminded residents that many motor vehicle services remain available online through the NJMVC website.

More than 25 online services are offered through NJMVC.gov, including driver license renewals and replacements, vehicle registration renewals, address changes, driver record requests and personalized license plate applications.

The commission encouraged customers to visit the website first to complete transactions online, schedule appointments for in-person services and resolve common customer service issues.
