Alternating single-lane traffic scheduled at Portland-Columbia Toll Bridge Nov. 4-5

COLUMBIA, N.J. (Warren County) — Motorists traveling across the Portland-Columbia Toll Bridge should prepare for potential delays next week as alternating single-lane traffic restrictions are scheduled for two days to accommodate concrete repair work.

The traffic restrictions will be in place Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Thursday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Flaggers will be stationed at the bridge to direct traffic while crews perform the repairs. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time when crossing the bridge during the scheduled work hours.
