‘Andy’s Room’ dedicated at Branching Out Foundation in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — A new sensory-friendly space designed to support children and families has been dedicated at the Branching Out Foundation at 525 Memorial Parkway.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office recently attended the dedication of “Andy’s Room,” a calming environment created to give children a place to step away, regroup and feel safe when they become overwhelmed.

The room honors Andrew “Andy” Malochleb, a father and member of the Branching Out community remembered for his kindness, support and love of music. Officials said his impact on families connected to the organization was lasting, and the space serves as a tribute to his role in fostering a sense of community.

The room includes a mural by artist Jaime Sands, designed to create a sense of calm, comfort and belonging.

The Branching Out Foundation offers inclusive programs and supportive environments for children of all abilities and their families.
