Arbor Bake Shop in Newton reopens with student-made treats

NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) — The Arbor Bake Shop at Sussex County Community College’s Culinary Institute has officially reopened for the fall semester, inviting the community to enjoy fresh-baked treats each Friday morning.

Open from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Fridays through May, the Bake Shop offers a tempting menu crafted by students in the college’s Baking and Pastry Arts program. Croissants, donuts, scones, quiche, and cinnamon rolls are among the highlights, paired with specialty coffees and teas.

Weekly specials are also available for preorder, with orders due by Tuesday for pickup on Friday.
