Bicyclist injured in crash with SUV in Warren County

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A bicyclist was injured in a crash with an SUV Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Knowlton Township, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the intersection of Knowlton Road and Koeck Road at about 3:41 p.m., according to state police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino.

A preliminary investigation determined the driver of a Volkswagen SUV was attempting to turn left from Knowlton Road onto Koeck Road when the vehicle struck a bicyclist traveling on Knowlton Road, Postorino said.

The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
