Blairstown officer uses EpiPen to aid woman after multiple bee stings

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A Blairstown Township police officer is being credited with quick lifesaving action after a woman lost consciousness from multiple bee stings, officials said.

The incident occurred when Officer Rizvani responded to a medical emergency involving the woman, who had gone into distress after being stung several times. Police said Rizvani immediately administered an EpiPen and provided oxygen until additional medical assistance arrived.

Officials noted that the department carries lifesaving tools such as EpiPens to allow officers to respond quickly in similar emergencies.

The police department commended Rizvani for his swift response.
