Centenary Stage Company announces auditions for “The Receptionist”

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Centenary Stage Company is holding auditions for the upcoming production of The Receptionist by Adam Bock.

Audition Date:

  • Lunch 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM

  • Equity actors for roles in THE RECEPTIONIST.

THE RECEPTIONIST

SYNOPSIS: At the start of a typical day in the Northeast Office, Beverly deals effortlessly with ringing phones and her colleague’s romantic troubles. But the appearance of a charming rep from the Central Office disrupts the friendly routine. As the true nature of the company’s business becomes apparent, The Receptionist raises disquieting, provocative questions about the consequences of complicity with evil.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
