Centenary University wellness director honored for excellence in college health

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Theresa A. Lord-Stout, RN, MSN, APN-C, executive director of wellness and nurse practitioner at Centenary University, has received the Ruth Hutchison College Health Excellence Award from the New Jersey College Health Association.

Lord-Stout was recognized for her leadership in delivering comprehensive healthcare and counseling services to students through the university’s Wellness Center for Counseling and Health.

“Theresa’s dedication to student well-being has made a lasting impact on our campus community,” the university said in a statement.

Under her direction, the Wellness Center recently earned first place in the small college division of the 2024–2025 New Jersey College & University Flu Challenge, an annual competition sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Health’s Vaccine Preventable Disease Program.
