Crews respond to shed fire in Sussex County

SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) –Emergency crews are on the scene of a shed fire on Pinecone Lane in Sparta Township Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters and police responded promptly to the incident, working to contain the fire and ensure the safety of the surrounding area, police said.

As a precautionary measure, Pinecone Lane has been temporarily closed to allow emergency personnel to operate safely. Residents are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes while authorities manage the scene, police siad.

The Sparta Detective Bureau is actively investigating the cause of the fire. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available, police said.
