Daytime lane restrictions continue at Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge through Friday

FRENCHTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists crossing the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge may encounter delays through the end of the week due to daytime traffic restrictions tied to an ongoing rehabilitation project.

Officials said flagger-controlled alternating single-lane traffic is possible between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday, April 10.

The temporary restrictions will allow a contractor to complete remaining work on the bridge rehabilitation project, which has been underway since last year.

Drivers should expect brief stoppages and potential delays while traveling through the area. Officials are urging motorists to slow down, use caution and follow directions from flaggers.

The schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other factors, officials said.
