Dog rescued from Sussex County drainage pipe
SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A dog in Sparta Township is back with its owners after getting stuck in a drainage pipe.
On Sunday, at 7:00 p.m., the Sparta Township Fire Department responded to Knoll Heights to assist with a reported dog stuck in a storm drain.
Hubbell had found his way into a drainage pipe, but was unable to find his way back out.
With help from firefighters and some coaxing from his owners, Hubbell made it out safely.
“We’re happy to report that other than needing a bath, he’ll be just fine,” firefighters said on their Facebook page.
