Early morning house fire leaves a home destroyed in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County home was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the blaze around 1:30 a.m. on Dreahook Road in Readington Township.

The home, built in the 1800s and currently undergoing renovations, was a total loss, with firefighters working to control the flames as the historic structure was completely destroyed, officials said.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, and authorities have not yet released additional information.
