Fire restrictions lifted statewide after overnight rainfall

NEW JERSEY – The New Jersey Forest Fire Service announced Thursday that fire restrictions have been lifted statewide following substantial rainfall overnight.

While the rain has helped reduce fire risks, the Forest Fire Service urges residents to remain cautious and responsible when using fire.

New Jerseyans are reminded to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to prevent accidental fires, especially as conditions can change rapidly.
