Hackettstown Business Improvement District announces honorees for Business Appreciation Awards Dinner

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District will host its Business Appreciation Awards Dinner on Wednesday, May 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at David’s Country Inn.

This year’s honorees include:

  • Business of the Year: Man Skirt Brewing and Czig Meister Brewing
  • Business Person of the Year: Denise Maguire of Maguire Memorial Home
  • Rookie of the Year: Home Sweet Hackettstown
  • Community Partners: Hackettstown Medical Center and Bright Smiles 4 Kids
  • Volunteer of the Year: Kate Kennedy
  • Special Award: Bilingual Liaison Diana Guevara

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
