Heath Village invites community to fall walking tour on Oct. 21
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Community members are invited to join residents of Heath Village for the senior living community’s final walking tour of the year on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. A rain date is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 23, at the same time.
The guided tour will highlight the multiple trails located on and adjacent to Heath Village’s 150-acre campus. Resident naturalists will be on hand to answer questions about the area’s woodlands, birds, and butterflies, offering guests a closer look at the natural environment surrounding the community.
Participants will enjoy scenic views of fall foliage, a tour of an apartment near the hiking trails, and a look at several of the outdoor amenities available to residents. The event will conclude with a complimentary outdoor meal on the community patio.
The low-intensity, one-mile walk will include several rest stops, making it accessible for participants of all fitness levels.
While the program is free, RSVPs are required and space is limited. Those interested can register by calling 908-684-5009.
