Heath Village invites community to fall walking tour on Oct. 21

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Community members are invited to join residents of Heath Village for the senior living community’s final walking tour of the year on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. A rain date is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 23, at the same time.

The guided tour will highlight the multiple trails located on and adjacent to Heath Village’s 150-acre campus. Resident naturalists will be on hand to answer questions about the area’s woodlands, birds, and butterflies, offering guests a closer look at the natural environment surrounding the community.

Participants will enjoy scenic views of fall foliage, a tour of an apartment near the hiking trails, and a look at several of the outdoor amenities available to residents. The event will conclude with a complimentary outdoor meal on the community patio.

The low-intensity, one-mile walk will include several rest stops, making it accessible for participants of all fitness levels.
