Hunterdon County Commissioners honor RVCC student for outstanding achievement in game development
HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – The Board of Commissioners recently presented a proclamation recognizing Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) student and Glen Gardner Borough resident Duncan Wade for his exceptional accomplishments in the field of game development.
Duncan’s contributions were acknowledged following his participation in the RVCC Global Game Jam 2025, where his innovative work earned him an “honorable mention.”
Commissioner Director John Lanza presented the proclamation and shared, “On behalf of the entire Board, I would like to congratulate Duncan Wade on his dedication and talent in the art and science of video game development. The gaming industry continues to see extraordinary growth, creating a wealth of opportunities for students interested in game design and development. Programs like the one at RVCC empower students to turn their creativity into meaningful and rewarding careers, and we wish Duncan continued success as he advances in his studies in game development.”
As a new member of the College’s Game Art and Game Development program, Duncan demonstrated extraordinary talent, making an impact among peers and professionals alike. His creativity and commitment to excellence will serve to inspire others and underscore the importance of nurturing innovation within the community.
