Hunterdon County man charged with burglary, stealing BMW
RARITAN BOROUGH, N.J. (Somerset County) — A Hunterdon County man has been charged after police say he stole a 2024 BMW X3 from a Raritan Borough residence over the summer.
According to police, Malachi Hill, 19, of Flemington, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2025, and charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft in connection with the July incident.
Officers responded to a Santora Drive home on July 21, 2025, for a report of a stolen BMW. The next day, the Newark Police Department located the vehicle abandoned in Newark, authorities said.
Through investigative efforts — and with assistance from the Raritan Township Police Department — Hill was identified as the suspect.
Police said Hill is currently lodged at the Warren County Jail on unrelated charges. The case remains under investigation.
