Hunterdon County to host disability services expo April 11

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Hunterdon County will host a Disability Services Expo later this month aimed at connecting residents and families with local resources and support services.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Route 12 County Complex, Building No. 1, at 314 Route 12 in Raritan Township.

Announced by Hunterdon County Commissioner Shaun Van Doren, liaison to the Department of Human Services, the expo will be organized by the county’s Human Services Advisory Council.

The event will bring together a range of service providers from across the county who support individuals with disabilities and their families. Attendees will be able to connect directly with organizations offering information on accessibility resources, home-based support services, home modifications, recreational opportunities and other programs aimed at promoting independence and improving quality of life.

“Events like this provide a valuable opportunity for residents and caregivers to meet directly with service providers and learn about the many resources available throughout Hunterdon County,” said Commissioner Van Doren. “The Disability Services Expo brings together organizations that play an important role in supporting individuals and families in our community.”

The expo is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Residents, caregivers and families are encouraged to attend.
