Hunterdon County to host municipal collaboration breakfast for local leaders

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners will host a Municipal Collaboration Breakfast on Friday, March 27, at 8 a.m. at Razberry’s Banquet Center in Kingwood Township, bringing together elected officials and community leaders from all 26 municipalities for discussions on shared services, economic opportunity and intergovernmental cooperation.

Commissioner Director John Lanza emphasized the importance of maintaining strong partnerships between county and municipal leadership.

“This breakfast provides an opportunity for local leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore ways we can continue working together to support our municipalities and residents,” said Director Lanza. “By highlighting the programs, services, and resources available through the County, we can strengthen collaboration and help ensure our communities remain vibrant and well-supported.”

Invitations have been extended to municipal elected officials as well as Main Street and downtown merchant association leaders. Organizers said the event is intended to strengthen relationships, share resources and identify new opportunities for collaboration between county and local governments.

Topics will include economic development and tourism initiatives, programs and services offered through the County Senior Center, and a new Municipal Lending Program available through the Hunterdon County Improvement Authority.

County officials said the breakfast is designed to provide municipal leaders with practical tools and information to support local initiatives and enhance services for residents.

The Municipal Collaboration Breakfast reflects the county’s ongoing commitment to what officials describe as a “New Era of Partnership” — focused on strengthening communication, advancing shared services and supporting municipal governments through coordinated efforts aimed at long-term community success across Hunterdon County.
