Jazzercise of Hackettstown raises $1,200 for Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — For the 16th consecutive year, Jazzercise of Hackettstown continued its tradition of raising breast cancer awareness — and funds — throughout the month of October, donating $1,200 to the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center.

Leslie Waters and Nancy McCarthy presented the donation to Stephen Flynn, Director of the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center, on behalf of the group’s members and instructors.

Each October, Jazzercise of Hackettstown incorporates special events and classes to encourage community participation and support for local cancer care services.

“Such an honor donating to an incredible community,” the organization shared in a Facebook post.

Hospital officials thanked Waters, McCarthy, and the entire Jazzercise team for their ongoing dedication. The funds will help the Joan Knechel Cancer Center continue providing high-quality cancer care to patients in the Hackettstown area.
