JCP&L customers without power can get free water, ice

NEW JERSEY – Jersey Central Power & Light customers who remain without electricity following high winds on Dec. 19 can pick up free water and ice at participating grocery stores across New Jersey, the utility said.

Customers must obtain a voucher at the customer service desk at designated ShopRite and Acme locations. The locations are listed by county:

JCP&L said the distribution is intended to assist customers affected by extended power outages caused by the storm. Customers are encouraged to check store hours before visiting.
