Kean accepting applications for Summer 2026 congressional internship program
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Tom Kean Jr., R-N.J., is accepting applications for his Summer 2026 Internship Program in both his Washington, D.C., and New Jersey district offices.
The competitive program offers college students an opportunity to gain firsthand experience working in a congressional office, including exposure to legislative and constituent services operations.
Interns assist with a range of responsibilities, including legislative research, communications and helping respond to constituent inquiries. Participants also gain insight into the legislative process and how a member of Congress serves residents in the district.
“I am pleased to offer this internship program to motivated students who are passionate about public service,” said Congressman Kean. “Our interns play a vital role in in the day-to-day operations of the office and take an active role in serving the people of New Jersey. This is a meaningful opportunity to develop real-world skills and experience, and I encourage all eligible students to apply.”
Applicants must be currently enrolled in college. Positions are available in Kean’s Washington office and his district office in Lebanon Borough.
The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Interested students can apply through the online form at kean.house.gov/services/internships.
