Lane closure planned on Route 202 south near Somerville Circle for repairs

BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Somerset County) — A left lane on Route 202 southbound is scheduled to be closed during daytime hours Thursday and Friday to allow for priority inlet repairs near the Somerville Circle in Bridgewater Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.

The closure is expected to be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, and Friday, Feb. 6, just past the exit for the Somerville Circle and Route 206 south, Route 28, Somerville and Princeton, officials said.

The right lane of Route 202 southbound and the exit ramp will remain open during the work. Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are advised to slow down and use caution in the work zone.

Officials said the schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.
