Lane closure scheduled on Route 22 westbound approach to Easton-Phillipsburg bridge Feb. 12-13

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – The Route 22 westbound approach to the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge is scheduled to be reduced to a single travel lane 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Thursday, Feb. 13, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The off-peak daytime travel restrictions will allow a Commission contractor to install new signage above the roadway approaching the bridge from the New Jersey side.

“Only minor travel impacts — if any — are anticipated. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through active work areas,” the commission said.

The scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
